Privacy Policy

Last reviewed: 10 April 2025

We want to be straightforward about how we handle your personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you visit pivot-marketing.co.uk, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Pivot Brand and Marketing Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our ICO registration number is C1905695. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can email us or by writing to us at 43 Forest Drive, Theydon Bois, CM16 7HB.

What we collect and why

When you get in touch using our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: you have chosen to contact us, and we have a genuine and proportionate interest in receiving and responding to that message.

We do not use contact form data for marketing. If we ever want to send you marketing communications, we will ask for your permission separately.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for 24 months from the date we receive it, after which it is deleted. If your enquiry leads to us working together, different retention terms may apply and we will let you know what those are.

Who else sees your data

Your message is delivered to us by email, which means our email service provider processes it on our behalf. We do not sell, share, or pass on your personal data to anyone else, except where the law requires us to.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, such as which pages are visited and how people find us. We use this information in aggregated, anonymised form to make the site better. We never see anything that identifies you personally.

When you first visit the site, we will ask if you are happy with this. If you say no, Google Analytics will not load and no analytics cookie will be placed on your device.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies or emailing us.

For more detail on how Google handles data, you can read their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Google’s servers are based internationally, which means analytics data may be processed outside the UK. Google operates under appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses.

How we keep your data secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. While we work to keep your information secure, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct anything that is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch. We will respond within one month.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last reviewed at the top.
